BlazBlue: Battle Cards
Cheats, Tips, Secrets & Walkthroughs for BlazBlue: Battle Cards on iPhone iPod |
Bounties are similar to quests. You will receive an assignment, and completing it will reward you with items that may include new characters. The most common reward are souls, which are spent to purchase core packs. Breaks can be used actively and reactively and cause interrupts that turn the flow of battles. They can only be used once per match. Good timing and prediction is required to use breaks efficiently. A Break Burst occurs when you use a break as a reaction command. This can only be done before your opponent plays their cards. A Break Burst will immediately cancels an opponent’s attack turn. Consider using one when you know your opponent has a large combo ready and you have no cards that can be used to counter or defend against it. An Overdrive occurs when you use a break actively. An Overdrive will reset your current reach combo but prevents your opponent from using Break Burst. This allows you to string together multiple combos. It can be done at any time during your attack turn, however is best used after performing one combo. Repertoire (blue) cards have no heat cost or heat replenishes. Grimoire (red) cards spend heat. When drawing, try to have an even balance between the two, especially early in a match. Build heat with your blue cards so that you can use powerful red cards, which usually include your character's Distortion Drive card. Distortion Drive cards are your character's ultimate attack. They usually cost about 4 heat to use, and cannot be countered. Use them when you have a big opening with no chance of your opponent counter-attacking, such as when they have used their break. To play more defensively, keep cards with a variety of ranges in your hand. If you have cards with ranges from 1, 2, 3, etc., you can block just almost anything your opponent uses until the grimoire cards begin to appear. If you block with an attack card, you will still take 1 chip damage afterwards. Playing too defensively can result in your opponent whittling you down slowly. You must assign a character to each deck you have created. Each character has a unique playstyle. Build the deck around your selected character's strengths.
