During your second playthrough (on Challenge Mode), you can purchase an item called the Golden Groovitron for 2,000,000 Raritanium.

As soon as you start the game, save up all your raritanium and then buy the shock ravenger. When you buy it spend all your raritanium maxing out the shock ravenger. It is the ultimate weapon on non-electric enemies. For the electric enemies, use the combuster when its maxed out.

Big head mode (Ratchet only): 50 skill points. | Submitted by Pyramat

Once you've beaten the game, you can unlock Challenge Mode. This will allow you to play through the game again, but the enemies will be more difficult. However, weapons will max out at level ten instead of level five, giving you an added edge.

Character concept art: 75 skill points. | Submitted by Pyramat

You can climb just about any wall using the Razor Claws, or any version of them. Walk up to a wall. High jump (keep R2 held), then attack the wall with the claws and quickly jump again. Repeat this as many times as desired. If done correctly you should be climbing a wall that you are not supposed to be scaling.

Obtain the required number of skill points in order to unlock each feature.

Dancing on the Ceiling: Successfully use the Groovitron on a Gravity Ramp. | Submitted by Pyramat

Heres how to defeat Captain Slag. Take out any weapon and start shooting him. Always keep your distance. Once you inflict enough damage he'll run away and sent out his crew members to kill you. Destroy them. Then Captain Slag will come back just keep shooting him. Later in the fight he'll shoot these streams of fire along the ground. Just jump over them. When he shoots out these blue boomerangs, shoot those to destroy them. If you need more help you can contact me. | Submitted by Krista

Heres how to defeat the kerchu. First hop on the girnd rail. jump over the green fire and the gaps. Then you will end up on a square shaped platform. Don't worry if you fall. There is a floor you can land on. It's easier to defeat him if you jump off the square onto the ground. But it will cause the kerchu to send out the spike ball kerchus. Keep shooting the kerchu as much as you can. Remember the groovation device is very useful when you're surrounded my enemies. All you really have to do is keep shooting him. You can contact me if you need more help. | Submitted by Krista

Use the following trick to get the Bolt Multiplier to 20X and earn lots of bolts. To do this, you must have completed the game at least once so that you are in Challenge mode. Go to the Battle Arena on Planet Mukow and choose the "They Were On Sale" fight (with the hundred bomb bots). Once the battle has starts, use a Mr. Zurkow then start throwing the Nano Bugs (small turrets that shoot bugs). After that, use any weapon to kill what does not die from the turrets. The Pyrocitor is recommended if it is level 6 or above. Do this three times and your Bolt Multiplier will be at 20X and you should have plenty of bolts.

To get easy bolts and weapon upgrades in Challenge mode, go to the Imperial Fight Festival on Planet Mukow. When there, go to the area go to the place just before it and Swingshot to go to the fighting arena. Pick the weapon you want to upgrade and fight your way to the bridge to the arena. At the bridge, jump off. You will die and be brought back to the Swingshot area. If you do not get hit, you can get a 7x multiplier and about 2.5 million bolts on each trip.

Environment concept art: 250 skill points. | Submitted by Pyramat

While traversing the various Space Battle levels, you may be mystified as to what the "Extra Targets" are that are mentioned at the end of each level. For instance, at the end of a level, you might be told that three of five "Extra Targets" were "Destroyed". Since you get Gold Bolts for destroying these targets, you'll want to be able to readily identify if one has been destroyed or not. That's easy enough to do, since each enemy destroyed who is considered one of these targets of interest will give off a multicolored glow when obliterated.

Kortog (Stratus city)
After you get your robo wings and follow the Zoni rings. Launch the robo wings again, and fly to the middle of the map, hit select and look for a diamond shape with 4 circles as the corners. Land here, there will be two ways to go, either will work. Work your way through the enemies to the North most corner, break these boxes and you will have the holo-plan for this planet.

Fastoon
Not possible until later in the game - See "return to Fastoon"

Mukow
Take the ferris wheel (after you get all the statue pieces and go through the tunnel of death thing) up the right side and about halfway up jump and glide to the right. You'll reach an area with a buncha of crates a holo plan is hidden within em.

Nundac Asteroid Ring
That one is on one of the farthest outer asteroids, on Delta right beside a box by one of the green launch pads, the one further away from the teleporter. Have to swing your way over there across two gaps

Ardolis
Before taking the elevator to the warp pad back to your ship there will be a door to the right of you. Use a heli -pod on it and go to the right. There is a chest of raritanium and crates smash the crates and you will be rewarded with a Holo-plan.

[Author's note: The elevator in question is found in the "Lounge" area. When you have defeated the Pirates in the Lounge, three more use the elevator to enter and attack. You must get the Holo-Plan BEFORE taking the elevator, or you have to backtrack over about half the level to try again. Also, this particular Holo-Plan has often been cited for a rather significant glitch. If you use explosive weapons or the Box Breaker inside the Lounge, there is a chance that the box with the Holo-Plan will be knocked off the ledge. While there is no known "fix" to prevent it from ever occuring, it is my understanding that you can claim the Holo-Plan on your next playthrough,
or as detailed below.]

Rykan V
Go to the "town" area where your ship and all the sales-bots are. At one edge of town there is a river of lava flowing out from under some big structures. You have to jump up and cross the river... do a hand-over-hand on the first ledge of the cylindrical structure on the furthest corner of the "town" away from the ship, then jump up when you have to and walk the rest of the way across. In the farthest corner of the platform, there is a "box" with a forcefield on one edge and a platform with a Helipod target on it. Jump into the box from the platform to the left of it, then use your Helipod to raise it high enough to get to the platform next to it. Break boxes there and you should find the plan.

[Author's note: you can also get across the lava river faster with the Thruster Pack. High Jump onto the two-crate-high structure on the far east side, Long Jump from there to the three-crate-high structure, and then Long Jump and Glide across the lava. Does not work with Heli-Pack.]

Sargasso
You have to climb onto the dinosaur by the gold bolt--the one who's standing on two of the tri-pads. Once you get about halfway up his spine, you can jump to the building. Of course, the other option is to use the Robo-Wings to get there, but the dinosaur makes a good reference point.

Kreeli Comet
At the point where you use the magnetic track to get past the pirate cannons, jump out and glide down to the land below you. You will be right outside a pirate doorkeeper, and behind you there is a swingshot target. Swing across to get to the holo-plan piece.

[Author's note: Another way to reach this one is to jump off the left side of the second ship (where you fight the large Pirate Robot), glide down, and swing across to the Holo-Plan. The elevator beyond the Pirate Doorkeeper takes you back to the second ship anyways.]

Viceron
The piece is on the platform before you take the taxi back to your ship. Instead of heading towards the taxi turn around and the holo-plan is in a set of boxes directly opposite the taxi. To make it easier to the taxi is on the left the plan is on the right.

Jacindu (Kerchu City)
Take the above ground path from where you land, kill the little bug eyed guys until you get to some Pirates in an open area before you go under a Bridge. As you approach the open area from the path, stop between the two rocks where the first pirate is (kill him before you just stand there). Look directly to your right, there is a ledge about a double jump high in the face of the rock of the right wall of the open area. Up there is a Raritanium chest with the holo- plan piece in it.

Ublik (Slag's Fleet)
After you take the first ship across, fight your way to an area with a bolt crank. To your right is a magna-path that will take you around behind the building. You'll find some Raritanium chests, etc, and a path that leads to a ship. Don't follow the path just yet. Smash stuff up and run around until you find the plan. I apparently went right past it on the first go.

Reepor
There are two gun-control turrets that your robot pals use to take out the force field. There is a platform in front of the control room to your right that you have to jump across open space to get to. You can see it pretty easily because it has a cluster of eight crates on it. Smash 'em and grab yourplan.

Igliak (Meridian)
There's a big domed room about midway through the level with a trench in the middle that you can fall through the city if you fall in. In the right hand corner from where you enter it, before the trench, up on a ledge, there's a group of boxes. It has the plans.

Return to Fastoon
This one's kind of tricky to describe, and if you don't want to fight Tachyon, you have to do this before Ratchet and Talwyn open the final chamber. When you use the Decrypter to get into the area outside the final showdown, keep to the right wall, smashing crates and whatever as you go. It's actually very easy to find if you stay along that wall, but it will probably go noticed
otherwise. | Submitted by ozi-g

They're two steps to defeating him. (first step) Take out a ranged weapon and start shooting him. (You should use a weak one cause its harder in the second step). (step 2) When his life is
about 1/4th down, you get taken into the strange space area. Take out a stronger weapon. A good way to get his life down is to you weapons that keep inflicting dammage even if you switch a weapon. (Example) If you get your weapon that launches tornados up to it's highest level, use that and take out another weapon to inflict lots of dammage. Also a really affective
weapon is the groovation device. At the side of the arena they're crates and life. | Submitted by Krista

To unlock the Omega series of weapons, you must beat the game once through, which unlocks Challenge Mode. As you play through the game a second time on Challenge Mode, the Omega series of weapons will be available at various vendors throughout your adventure. Omega weapons are, of course, more powerful than your basic weapons.

Play in challenge mode, upgrade RYNO IV fully, and purchase RNYO 4Ever from any weapons merchant for 50000000 bolts.

Obtain each of the holo-plans.

Customizing and upgrading your weapons can be done in any number of ways. To increase the amount of Raritanium you acquire immediately, however, try upgrading your weapons initially in terms of their Raritanium output when used. Since many enemies give up Raritanium when killed, you can make them drop more by using weapons upgraded to increase Raritanium output. Upgrade the output before upgrading anything else, and you'll have plenty with which to upgrade before long!
