Cheating Dome presents Cheats & Hints for Prince of Persia: Warrior Within running on PlayStation 3
When fighting Shadi, she will block. Immediately after blocking she will try to attack. Dodge this attack by rolling to a side and somersault backwards. Let her finish her strikes before going to attack her again. Repeat the process until you win. Use the following trick to defeat the mini-Boss that is formed from the evil crow enemies encountered in the beginning of the game after the ship level. Jump over him and slash him in the air repeatedly. By doing this, he cannot hit you. You must wait a few seconds between attacks. Also, in the last two stages, you will be on platforms; be careful that you do not fall off. When you face the crow king on the bridge, do not fight. Turn to the right side and climb on the surface. Then, climb on other side. Walk on the wall and stick to the pole. Jump to next pole. Jump to the surface. Walk on the wall and go up. Open the door by the Prince Of Persia symbol. Go inside the door to complete the level. You must have all nine Life Upgrades to gain the final sword, The Water Sword, to fight The Dahaka and receive the alternate ending. Before you enter the Central Chamber the second time, make sure you go to the pedestal in the middle of the hourglass room to receive the Water Sword. Enter the Central Chamber to trigger the intermission sequence. Then, chase the empress to trigger the alternate Boss fight with The Dahaka. This can be a very tricky Boss (especially under the hard difficulty setting), and he may seem very cheap at first. Immediately when the fight starts, trigger the Ravages Of Time attack against the beast. Do this twice, then run around and refill your Sand Tanks. The Dahaka will try to shoot his tendrils up through the ground in front of you. The best tactic to avoid them is to run around in a circle -- they will not touch you. After your Sand Tanks are filled, go back towards him. When you get close to him, he will shoot tendrils out of his stomach at you. Roll under them then activate Slow Time and hit him until his health is about half way down. An intermission sequence will start, and the beast will be hanging on the side of the cliff. Run over to him and use Ravages Of Time as much as possible. When his health gets too low, he will jump up into the center of the stage and regain half of his health. This is when he becomes angry and things get tricky. He will try to jump on you multiple times. Run around the stage collecting the sands, rolling out of the way when he jumps towards you. If he misses you, he will try to shoot his tendrils at you; just run or roll away from him. Eventually he will go back to shooting tendrils out of the ground. When your sands are full, run towards him and use the same tactic as before. When your down to a couple of Sand Tanks, fill up again. The strategy is to get his health as low as possible before he gets knocked to the side of the cliff, then use either Slow Time or Ravages to kill him off before he jumps back up again. Block and do the attack were you jump behind her, and attack her twice. Remember to block immediately after this or she will hit you down. While fighting the first Boss after you become the Sandwraith, use slow time to easily kill it. It will rarely get a hit on you, and your Sand Tank will regenerate during this time. Whenever it runs out, immediately start slow time again. Remember to stay behind it or its attack will knock you off the platform. Always jump over her and hit her in the air. However, if you do this long enough she will dodge it. When she does, start counter attacking until starts dodging counters, then start jumping over her again. Keep doing this process until you win. To defeat the harder Golem Boss that throws exploding monsters at you, have at least five Sand Tanks full. Activate Ravage Of Time and hit him behind his legs (which has no armor). Then, jump on his back and onto his head. Immediately activate Ravage Of Time again so you can hit his head faster. When it wears off, activate Eye Of The Storm, then keep hitting him. You should then finish him off. Make sure you have at least two Sands Of Time slots full. Hit the back side of his legs where there is no armor. After a few hits it will bend. Jump on it and activate slow motion. Hit it several times until it raises its hand to catch you. Then, jump onto the armor opposite of where the golem is raising its hand. When it removes it again, jump back onto its neck. Activate slow motion and start hitting until it falls. Note: This tactic can also be used with the mummy. You should already have the strongest ground attack given to you. When facing the Griffin, hold [Block] then hold down the key that controls your sand powers. While holding these, charge up until your ground attack is at maximum. This should automatically send out its shockwave, dealing a great amount to the Sand Griffin. Do this about three to four times and it should die. When the fight starts, trigger your ground attack twice. This should get him to half health. Then, run in circles until you have a new Sand Tank. Then, charge him and try to avoid his attacks. When he gets in the air, just hang on the edge. He cannot reach you. When he gets back on the ground, Slow Time and attack him. He will eventually be defeated after this has been defeated. After getting the Scorpion or Water Sward, go to the garden tower. There were four levers and a statue in the middle. Climb up on the ladder, then another one, and jump on the back platform. Climb a ladder and run on the wall. Catch a ledge and jump on the floor. There are three paths. Go the middle and find a time portal. Go to the present. Return to the roof and you will see a cracked wall (which Dahaka breaks during the chase). Go in the wall and jump behind it. You see a switch to the left side of you. Use it and climb the altar that appears. Catch the rim above it. Jump on the wall and climb down. Break the designed wall and you will find the Duck Mace. This secondary weapon is almost unbreakable and does almost no damage. Once you get to the huge room in the clock tower, the camera will zoom in on the Sand Troll with boxes. When you defeat the enemies, the troll will keep throwing the exploding Sand Dogs. There are two weak walls on the left and the right. Go to the right one first. You will see a weak wall. Stand by it and look at the troll. When you see the troll throw those dogs, get out of the way. Look in the hole and you will see a water fountain. If you are running low on health and want to save a game, go right first. Do the same exploding tactic with the troll. Go to the Mystic Caves with a sword that can break walls. Pass the first gate that unloced to find a passage divided by a pit with a switch on the floor. Jump into the pit and get through the breakable section of wall at one end. Break the weapon rack that is behind it to get the glowing sword. This secondary weapon does a large amount of damage, but with every use will also increase damage given to the Prince. After getting the Scorpion Sword, return to the central room. Turn the turnstile so that the lever is facing the doorway with the save point fountain. Stand facing the opposite doorway and walk up slightly and to the right. You will find a ledge that is one step lower than the area around you. Walk down and grab on to it. Jump to the opposite ledge then jump back and forth to slowly make your way down. Once you reach the bottom, drop down to the ledge below it. Wall Run to the next wall and get ready to jump off and back and forth to make your way up. Wall Run again, and when you reach the end wall, jump to slow your descent again. You will eventually grab onto a ledge. Make your way to the doorway that is next to it, but do not enter. Instead, keep going on the rocks until you see the area where sand is falling. Use the Scorpion Sword to break the wall. Break the rack of weapons and pick up the hockey stick. The hockey stick is unbreakable, but if you throw it the weapon will be lost. It has moderate damage and a relatively slow attack rate. Successfully complete the game to unlock the Illustration Gallery. To get the library life upgrade whilst in sandwraith mode one must first get to the point where the Dahaka breaks through the wall. You then climb up onto the rafters like would normally and you should see a broken pillar somewhere on the Dahaka's right side (your left). Drop down onto this and you should end up right in front of the Dahaka. As long as you do not touch the Dahaka he will not hurt you. Now, you simply jump right across the gap in the floor and you should cling onto the next ledge which the Dahaka prevented you from. You then continue to proceed upwards and across to the balcony ledges. However, coming back, you need to be careful. It may appear that the Dahaka has disappeared but in reality he is still there so do NOT try to walk in through the hole but go back up onto the rafters and continue on like normal. Deviating from this path and going out the normal library exit may cause game ending glitches. The Light Sword is the most powerful secondary weapon in the game. When in the Mystic Caves, you will find a door that you must unlock via a switch. Immediately after that door, there is a drop in the floor. Drop down and break the left wall. Break the rack to pick up the Light Sword. It is unbreakable, but if you throw it you it will be lost. The Light Sword has maximum damage and maximum attack rate. Dahaka speaks backwards. If you rewind time when he speaks you be able to understand what he actually says. Some phrases include, "You cannot escape the Dahaka", "You cannot escape your fate" and "You will be removed". On the ship where the game starts, look at the weapon that your dead shipmates have dropped (the humans, not monsters). Most of them should be the sword you started with Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time. After getting a sword that can break walls, get to the Garden Hall (Present). Begin at the middle passageway at the very top of the hall. Wall run to the rope, then wall run to the central platform. Turn to the left and walk through the rubble that should be in front of you. Turn around and hold onto the platform you were just standing on. Then, jump across the gap to the next platform. To your left is another platform with a switch. Once there, use the switch then go back to the platform you were just on. Climb on the block that is now here, then do a vertical wall run and jump to get to the beam above. Walk along the beam to the right then jump to the ledge on the far wall. Follow the ledge until you find an alcove. Drop down into the alcove and use your sword to break the rear wall on the right side. The pink flamingo weapon is hidden in the weapon rack. One hit from it can knock anything except Bosses to the ground. When you reach the portal room for the second time, when you have to switch the time to the present for the first time, the Prince will say that something is wrong. You must run the switches on the wall to make the portal work correctly. Do not run the switches on the wall. Instead, enter the portal as it is and you will switch the time to the present. Save the game, then exit and load the game. You will now be playing as the maggot man. In this mode you will constantly lose life and much more health when hit than in normal mode. However your attacks will be very powerful and you are much more quicker. Note: Save the game on a different file if you wish to continue the game as the Prince. Get to the main tomb in the Catacombs. Exit this area to begin a Dahaka chase. Notice that the passageway branches during the second and third Dahaka chase. Turn left here and find the weapon rack immediately to your left. Break the weapon rack to collect Rayman's glove. One hit from it can knock anything except Bosses to the ground. If you need sand, for example on the level where you have to go across the retractable floors before the gardens, there are usually jars in these sorts of areas. They will give you one full sand gauge if you break them. One of the miscellaneous secondary weapons is the teddy bear. Locate it after earning the Scorpion Sword in the clock (west) tower. There are three encounters with a giant golem enemy in the clock tower when you initially go through it. The first is before you start negotiating the vertical climbing of the tower (past); the second is atop the clock tower (past); and the third is stationary and throws exploding monsters in the clock tower's second area (past). Look for the room where the second giant golem enemy is found. You need to be in the present (find a time portal) and drop into the water-filled dead end past the golem's room. Break the wall and retrieve the teddy bear. The teddy bear is almost unbreakable and does almost no damage, but has the ability to restore lost life to the Prince with each successful blow on an enemy.
