You will start with five uses of the in-game hint system. Once used, you have to pay to get more. Only use those starting hints when absolutely necessary. Keep your finger held until you are ready for the next stroke. As soon as your finger is lifted the move counter is changed. Many solutions are based on clearing your path by using a color that is not already part of a combination in order to break through a blockade. However after break through, retain some access to all the primary colors unless you have no further need of them. Otherwise you may need to restart later because you cleared a primary color that was needed to fill a glowing empty hole. Take a screenshot of a difficult puzzle to study it at your convenience.
