Mad Skills Motocross 2
Cheats, Achievements for Mad Skills Motocross 2 on iPhone iPod |
Technically, you can tap the brake to more easily negotiate a tough portion of the course, but that's the sort of thinking that will prevent you from crossing the finish line first. Usually, the answer is to merely ease off the accelerator. There's a subtle difference there, but it's enough to prevent you from losing momentum and that matters a lot. In some areas, you may encounter a series of small bumps. Raise your wheel slightly as you pass along that obstacle and you'll barely slow at all, whereas braking on your way through can drop your speed quite a bit. You'll need to be careful on the other side of that hazard, of course, but you'll do find if you're mindful of wheel position and you can use each such opportunity to gain on any opponents who haven't realized yet that brakes are for suckers. Keep Your Eye on the Prize
Although tricks and fancy driving are rewarded in the game, remember that your real goal is always to cross the finish line first. You should perform air tricks and such only when you have a comfortable lead and know that you can stick the landing, since a crash gives everyone a chance to catch up and pass you. The last thing you want is to lose a race at the last second because you attempted an ill-advised stunt and bailed. Microtransactions Aren't Worth It
Although you have the option to buy rockets and such with real money, there's actually not any good reason to do so. You can unlock new bikes just by playing through the race circuit, and the rockets provide boosts that only make it easier to crash your bike, not to race better. Focus on driving like a champion--without the costly shortcuts--and you'll find yourself leading the pack more often than the guy who spends money to make things "easier." More Cheats, Achievements
