Cheat Codes

Pause the game and press Y to display the "Cheats List", then press Y again to enter cheat codes. Note: Some cheats require you to meet certain in-game requirements before using them. Enabling codes prevents achievements from being earned.

Easy "Locked And Loaded" Achievement

Go to any gunsmith (marked on map in towns), like the one in Valentine. Speak to the gunsmith. Select any weapon and choose the "Components" option. Change every component to get the "Locked And Loaded" trophy. For example, the basic Double-Action Revolver has the following four components: Grip, Barrel Length, Barrel Rifling, and Iron Sights. It costs a few dollars to change these, but you can create a manual save before doing this and reload it afterwards to get your money back. | Submitted by Neto

Infinite money

To get an unlimited number of gold bars, simply complete the following steps.

1. Create a manual save (Pause Menu, Story, Save Game) so you can return to a save file without the exploit, if desired. Also, disable autosaves to make this easier (Pause Menu, Settings, General, Autosave Off).

2. Go to "Limpany" a burned-down village just slightly northwest of Flatneck Station.

3. Open the lockbox inside the burned-down Sheriff building, but do not loot anything from it. There must be a gold bar and letter inside. If you do not see the letter, it is because you already bought the "Special Horse Stimulant Pamphlet" from a Fence, and this exploit will not work.

4. Look at the gold so it shows the words "Gold Bar" in bottom right corner. It is easier in first-person view. While looking at the gold bar, save the game, exit the game through the menu, then select "Resume Story" at the title screen (Pause Menu - Story - Save Game - Click Back - Story - Exit - Title Screen - Story).

5. You will spawn somewhere nearby. Return to the box, and the letter should be gone. There will now be unlimited gold bars in the box. Collect as many as you can carry (30 maximum, each is worth $500 = $15,000 total).

6. Sell the 30 gold bars at a Fence for $15,000. For example, at Emerald Ranch (nearest one).

Repeat steps 3-6 as many times as desired to get an unlimited amount of money. $15,000 is enough to last a full playthrough though. After completing the story, you get an additional $20,000, which is more money than you will ever need. So doing this once should suffice. If you wish to repeat the process, make sure you close and reopen the lockbox to make the letter respawn. Then, aim at the gold bar again, save the game manually, quit out to title screen, continue, ride back to lockbox, and pick up 30 gold bars again. Note: This glitch was performed on an unpatched version of the game. It will probably eventually get patched. To avoid not being able to use this exploit, either do not install new patches before using this exploit or delete the patches. You can avoid patches being installed by disconnecting from the internet until you are ready for the game to install new patches.

Butchered (10 points)	Red Dead Online: Sell 20 items to the Butcher.
Collector's Item (20 points)	Complete one of the Collectable strands.
Cowboy Builder (10 points)	Complete 'A New Jerusalem'.
Endless Summer (20 points)	Complete the Epilogue.
Errand Boy (10 points)	Deliver 5 camp companion item requests.
Eventful (10 points)	Red Dead Online: Play 5 Free Roam Events.
Extreme Personality (10 points)	Reach maximum or minimum Honor level.
Friends With Benefits (20 points)	Complete a Companion Activity in each camp.
Getting Started (10 points)	Red Dead Online: Reach Rank 10.
Give to the Poor (10 points)	Donate $250 to the gang tithing box.
Gold Rush (50 points)	Earn 70 Gold Medals in Story missions.

Notorious (100 points)	Red Dead Online: Reach Rank 50.
Paying Respects (20 points)	Find the graves of each of your fallen companions.
Picked to Perfection (20 points)	Red Dead Online: Pick 25 Herbs.
Pony Up (10 points)	Spend $5000 across all shops.
Posse Up (5 points)	Red Dead Online: Form a Persistent Posse.
Redemption (30 points)	Complete 'Red Dead Redemption'.
Self Sufficient (10 points)	Craft 30 unique items in Story Mode.
Series Major (10 points)	Red Dead Online: Take part in a Series.
Settling Feuds (20 points)	Complete Chapter 3.
Skin Deep (30 points)	Skin every species of animal in Story Mode.
Strength in Numbers (10 points)	Red Dead Online: Complete a Free Roam mission as part of a Posse with at least 2 members.
