Play the "Prepare for the Attack of Saiyans!" Parallel Quest offline as Vegeta SSJ4, Ultimate Cell, or a similar character. Bring strong allies with you. Defeat Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien as quickly as possible. Do not go through the gate. Instead, search and if you are lucky there will be a Time Patroller standing under one of the awnings in the center of the stage. If not, pause game play and restart the quest. If the patroller is there, defeat him or her as quickly as possible. Afterwards, a notification will appear at the bottom of your screen. There are usually two messages; the second one is more important. If it was not "You got Key Item!", restart the quest. If the Key Item message did appear, go through the gate and complete the quest. Defeat Gohan and Picollo, and also Goku if needed. The items you earned will appear after your score is tallied. This is any new Dragon Balls will appear. Repeat the process as many times as required to farm Dragon Balls. Patience is required, as you will usually need several attempts before earning a Dragon Ball. Additionally, after getting a few Dragon Balls in the same mission they will stop being offered as a reward. When this happens, begin farming the "Fierce Battle! Ginyu Force!" patrol mission. At the start of the mission, immediately use your Scouter to look for a randomly named Time Patroller in the first area. If you do not see him or her, restart. Defeat the Time Patroller and wait for the "You got Key Item!" message before completing the mission. Repeat the process as many times as needed for the remaining Dragon Balls.
