Ambush: Easy A.C.E.S. points
In the mission "Ambush", get to the end where you have to order one of your teammates to defuse the bomb. Order him to do that and stand beside him. He should complain about you standing next to you. Next, have your other person regroup then tell him to throw a grenade at the door in front of the bomb. You should get two kills. Look above you. There should be a person about to go on the turret. If you kill him, he keeps respawing. This is an easy way to boost your Assault points or any other desired A.C.E.S. points. Note: You will get more A.C.E.S. points under the Realistic difficulty setting.
In Story mode under the Realistic difficulty setting, there is a glitch on the "Ambush" level. Make your way to the first bomb you encounter. Tell your team to disarm it. While they are doing that, plant a C4 on the right window in front of the bomb. Then, turn left, look up top on the turret, and detonate the C4. You will see the enemies respawn. You can keep killing them. They will keep respawning, allowing you to get an enormous amount of experience, and A.C.E.S. You can do this as long as desired. You should get an LMG for more ammunition. When you run out, restart the checkpoint.

On main menu screen after you press start. go to terriost hunt. Pick Killhouse as your area. Pick Realistic for your setting. Then pick medium density. Then pick for lone wolf-NO. U want for equipment C-4 and Smoke as your gadets. For weapons go with any pistol. a decent assult rifle. And an UMP-45 submachine gun. Pick for customization Max clip or whatever it is that gives u more ammo. pick acog scope for assult rifle. Once u spawn go up the steps to ur right. tell ur men to stand on the first landing. Go up against the wall when u first walk up to 1st landing. peek around and if theres a guy farther down the path the kill him. Then go up against that wall. Look up towards a rappel towards the end of the roof. You should start seeing guys come over in a couple seconds. shoot them halfway down the rappel for marksman pts (3) and u also get XP (10) wait until the amount of tangos is 17 left then walk back to ur guys and throw a smoke on the roof and tell them to go on the roof. U then go up after 5 seconds and head to the right u will see an L shaped set of sandbags go on the right side of them so u face to rappels. Get up against it and watch the rappel to the left of u. only a couple times will some1 come up other rappel. Shoot them when u first see there head for marksman pts or wait until they climb over for CGB pts. there should be about 9 tangos left after this. Get ur C-4 out and head over to the left. there will be a door tell ur guys to throw smoke and then tell them to stand on the landing. Close the door and go down with them. U will see red graffiti in front of u throw the C-4 there and wait they will come. Now u can either shoot them or blow the C-4
for assult pts. but keep looking at the door. Now u should be well on ur way to elite.... u can keep doing this.... Have Happy Hunting. |

In order to get the "Haute Couture" achievement, you must be an Elite. When you become an Elite you will get custom camo. All you have to do is put one on.
Note: This requires that the free FanPack maps map be downloaded. There is a way to earn some fast A.C.E.S. points on the CQB Dark map. It is best to do this on solo so that no enemies are triggered before you are ready for them. Start a Terrorist Hunt offline and make sure Lone Wolf is on. By doing this, your AI partners will not spoil anything for you. When the game loads, immediately change over to your pistol. The Desert Eagle is recommended because it is a one shot killer at close range. Start walking to the corner of the wall on your left. As you near it, sprint around the corner and go up the ladder. The man at the end of the other room may shoot at you or call for back up, which is perfect. Do not stop to engage him or his friends. Climb the ladder quickly and take cover beside the concrete wall crouched down so that no one below can shoot you. Aim at the ladder and wait. They will come up one by one. When the count reaches 37 terrorists to go it is time to trigger more. Go down the ladder and go to the room where you started. Go out into the courtyard ahead. Move behind the pallets of sandbags. Move just so you can get a shot on the person in the building across from you on the right side of the doorway. Shoot him and run back for the ladder. Go back up and repeat the process. The count should now be 29 terrorists. Run across the map to the other ladder, entering at the closest door to you (behind the broken down van). Shoot at either of the men you encounter (in the window of the middle building or the corner of the far right building) then run for the ladder and go up. Repeat the process. Allow one minute to pass without terrorists to make sure it is safe to continue. Move to the wall behind you and do not leave the top of the ladder. Fire a few rounds then go back to the ladder. Repeat the killing. Keep moving out into the outer perimeter of the building with the ladder and you should narrow it down to about three to five terrorists that will not fall for your trap. Hunt them down and kill them. You can clear the map on your own. You can do this under the Realistic setting at high enemy density. Every kill you make should be while they are on the ladder and you are behind them. You will get Kill At Close Range or more often than not, Kill Opponent From Behind A.C.E.S. points. Kill 40 terrorists like this and for 120 A.C.E.S. points per round.
To earn a great amount of A.C.E.S. for Marksman and CQB and a little bit of Assault, equip a sniper rifle with 6X12 scope Note: Any of them except for the first sniper rifle will work, preferably the automatic one. Go to Story mode and to the chapter "Monorail". You should begin with two doors in front of you. Do not open them yet. There are two supply boxes. Open one, and it will give you more ammunition for your sniper rifle. After that, open the doors and order your companions to guard the left entrance of the monorail. Note: If this is not done, you will be killed from behind. Take cover, but not behind the plants. Also, do not cross the monorail hall or you will either be killed or will not get what you are looking for. The methods to getting A.C.E.S. after that are as follows.
CQB: Once behind cover, pull out your sniper rifle. Do not get out of cover. You need to scope twice with your sniper. You will see the screen go into focus. Then, blind fire at the turrets and men, but beware, some rush. Your companions should take good care of them, though if you placed them at the correct location.
Marksman: This is a little harder as it involves you not blind firing, but coming out of cover to shoot. Scope into any of the men you see and always do a head shot. Some may be too close for the "Long Range" A.C.E.S., and if you simply shoot them on the chest it will not get you the points. Some may rush, but once again those two soldiers will help you.
Assault: Advance through the monorail to your right. Take cover behind a blue box. A shielded opponent will emerge. Snipe him on his leg or arm and he should fall. Advance forward. Once you have reached the area where enemies charged down the stairs, there should be another shielded opponent on the opposite side. You can either let your companions take care of him, or you deal with him personally. Doing this tactic should get you a massive amount of A.C.E.S. After every time you finally kill the shielded opponent on the opposite side of the bridge, just reload checkpoint and do it all over again.
On CQB, take a frag grenade and C4 as your gadgets. With your other weapons you should have an assault rifle. When you set it up, make sure your teammates are in the game, at high enemy level, and it is on normal. When you start, tell your teammates to go to the box in front of you. Then, go to the corner to your right and take cover on that wall. Throw a grenade down at the other end of the building. You should get one or two kills. Wait for another terrorist to appear, then throw the other grenade. You should get three or four kills. Walk out the door to your left then take out your C4. Throw it inside the door to the brick building. Shoot the upper left green box in the brick building. Wait until some terrorists get close to the door. Detonate the C4 and keep doing this until the terrorists stop appearing. Go to the end of the brick and throw a grenade through the doorway. You should get a few more kills.
Choose single player Terrorist Hunt. Make sure you have C4 on you. Choose the Presidio map. Set it to the Realistic difficulty and high density. Make it that so you are a lone wolf. Once done, launch the game. When you start, go forward in the direction you are facing. Make sure to sprint to get there quickly. After sprinting you should see a set of doors. Take cover next to the closest one. After you are in cover, open the door. At the far end of the room there will be a man that will walk by. Kill him by precision aiming (firing from cover). On the left should be another set of doors. Throw a C4 in front of it, but not on it. Wait for one of the doors to open and detonate it. Then throw in another C4 and detonate it. The most you should get is six kills, but it may be lower though. Repeat this to get a lot of Assault points.
Enter the Game Convention in Act 4 Scene 2-3. Go through the front door of the building. Go straight ahead and look to your right. Go forward then turn right again so that you face the arcade demos. Go back a few steps. You will see a massive poster on the wall with the Far Cry 2 logo on it.Note: You can do this on the way to save the man from the bomb or on the way back.

Submitted by VagamefreakNote: You must have an Xbox Live account to do this trick. Go to "My Character" in the main menu, then go to "Reset Appearance" and make your character a female. Your guns, clothing and armor will still be there. Press Xbox 360 Logo and go to the Dashboard settings section. Go down to "System Settings". Go to "Memory" then press Y to go to the device options. After that press X(2), LB, RB, X(2). Answer "Yes" when asked if you want to perform maintenance. This will not affect your saves or downloaded content. After it is done, start the game again. It should ask if want to update. Choose "No" then go to "My Character" again. Reset your appearance and change your character into a male. After that is done press Xbox 360 Logo and go to connect to Xbox Live. You will be asked if you want to update. Answer "Yes". After the update is done look at your character's rank. It should have gone up and you will keep the rewards that are given with that rank. You can repeat this as many times as desired.
Killhouse: Get into the train
There is a broken down train at the southern end of the map. Take cover behind the barrels inside. Release LT to move off of the barrels while moving forward. Click the Left Analog-stick to stand up and keep moving forward until you are on the barrel. Your head should be outside of the train. You can snipe people on the stairs or coming down the fastrope.
Host an online match on Xbox Live. It can be any match type, as long as you are the host. After the game begins, press Start. Then hold RB and Left Analog-stick(2), press A, click Right Analog-stick(2), press B, click Left Analog-stick(2), press X, click Right Analog-stick(2), press Y. The message "GiDoeJoe Mode" will appear on everyone's screen to confirm correct code entry. Alpha team will shoot blue lasers and Bravo will shoot red lasers. To use this code on Xbox Live, the host must enable it.

Once you reach the part of the level where you have to defuse the bomb on the door, have your team hold at the base of the stairs. Then, advance up the stairs and stand a few feet back from the double doors. Aim at the bottom of the doors and throw a grenade. Back away from the grenade fast so you do not die, and the grenade will go off. A delayed rumble will occur, and you will receive experience points. The amount of points depends on what difficulty you play at, and you will receive 2 A.C.E.S. Assault points for a kill with a grenade. You will fail the mission because it states that you "Disobeyed a Direct Order," but do not worry -- you will not lose any experience and can just reload the checkpoint at the bottom of the stairs again. Repeat the process several times. This will help you effectively unlock guns and rank up. Note: This was done under the Realistic difficulty setting.
Note: This code only works in Terrorist Hunt mode. Pause game play then hold RB and click Left Analog-stick, Right Analog-stick, Left Analog-stick, Right Analog-stick, press A, B, click Left Analog-stick, Right Analog-stick, Left Analog-stick, Right Analog-stick, press X, Y. Have a saved game file from Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas with an "Elite rank". When starting a new game in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 you will be given 2,500 experience points, the ballistic face mask, and flight helmet.
Enter the Game Convention in Act 4 Scene 2-3. Go up to one of the arcade games. Two of them will read "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell" on the top. If you look at their screen, the arcade machine will cycle through some gamer pics from the Splinter Cell series. Note: You can do this on the way to save the man from the bomb or on the way back.
