When starting a career with the kansas city cheifs you will want to start with free agency. You will have a lot of money this and in later years but I recommend that you save it for Rookies and years with higher profile free agents. First, you should get a good recevier to compliment Dywane Bowe. Marty Booker or Benard Berrian are good options. Unluckily that is the only position that can be adressed during free agency. But luckily there is still the draft. With your first pick go after Glenn Dorsey and your second first round pick on either Derrick Harvey or Jarod Mayo to help the front 7 even more. Then in the later rounds look for a back up running back like Tim Hightower and a quarterback like John David Booty. But in the 2nd or 3rd rounds look for players like Tyrell Johnson. Once you sign your rookies then look for a veteran QB. I have found that Chad Pennington is cheap in a trade like a 3rd or 4th round pick. Then you are set.Your record should be 5-11 or 6-10. The next off season you should have about 70 Million Dollars to throw around. Teams cut their best players like the Cowboys cut Jason Witten and the Patriots cut Tom Brady (Yeah really). So spend your money and lead your team to many dominate seasons and become a legend. |
