If you are in case 5, the case where Gil Grissom is kidnapped, you MOST do this to go to Kylie Yardstrum's apartment so you can finish the case. If you are collecting evidence in Leda's Apartment, DO NOT FORGET to take prints of the photoalbum and the paper in the ashtray. The photoalbum has certain black marks what look like fingerprints, on the left side (the side with the picture of the bird) just powder it like always and you'll get some prints. If looking in the ashtray, the lowest piece of paper, where you can see a date and pagenumber, just spray some ninhyrin on it to view some prints. Then if you can't get any farther, just go to the lab and let all be searched by Greg Sanders, then go to James Brass, to get permission to re-open the hotel where Kylie Yardstrum was killed. He will say no and give you evidence of the first and fourth cases. bring the prints from the medicine bottle in the computer, compare them with the prints of the photoalbum, voila, the same. now give the Ligature to greg and the sample of cream you found on the bookcase in Leda's Apartment, he will say there is cream on the ligature.. now get back to James Brass and ask to re-open the case again, then he will open. Just talk to the hotel owner untill he has nothing more to say, get out of the window and you will see a hand print, take a sample of it and you will see the story of how Kylie was REALLY killed. Go to the iron rod. Use the magnifier. Move all the way down the rod with the magnifier and you should find a thread from a sweater. You can ask your partner for a hint about the case. You can see in what area you have not done, such as locations that you have not thoroughly searched. In And Out case: Secret hair
When on the first investigation (In And Out), go to the cloth on the bed next to the dead woman and use the magnifier. Then, use the tweezers to pick up the hidden hair. If you look outside you will find a knee print. After you cast it, just above the knee print are some small pieces of glass. Collect it. Prints And Pauper case: More evidence
After you collect everything from the garbage, go to the lab. Give Greg everything you collected, then select the "Evidence" button. Put the pointer on the meat, then press Y. Use the pointer to collect more evidence. Prints And Pauper Case: Pawn Shop
Evidence is hidden at the pawn shop, to the right of the garbage can on the ground, There is a ring that you do nothing to. Open the object with the microscope above the ring. Tweeze the hair and swab the stain. Then, go back and access the object. Take it, then talk to Lane Jackson (the man at the pawn shop).
