Fight the Velociprey in mission "Your First Monster Hunt". Divine Providence movie ... Encounter the Rathalos in mission "Rathalos Urgent". King of Heaven movie ... Encounter the Rathalos in mission "One Star Egg Carry". Lao Shan Lung movie ... Bash the head of Lao Shan Lung (Mt. Lao Dragon). Menace in the Sand movie ... Make the Cephladrome in mission "Land Shark" barf blood. +1 extinction! Poison of the Swamp movie ... Squish a Gypceros in the swamp. Shepard ... Fight the Velocidrome in mission "The Formidable Velocidrome!" Supreme Ruler Inferno ... Force the Gravios into exntinction. Lone Black Wolf movie ... Bash in the Yian Garuga in mission "Slay 20 Velociprey". Phantom Beast movie ... Fight the Kirin. If you win, you get out. Ancient Piscine movie ... Fight the Plesioth. WhiteShadowDarkness ... Finish "Bring me a khezu" Monster Hunter Freedom Unlockable: Khezu Ecology You must khezu at Attack of the Cave Wyvern. Monster Hunter Freedom Unlockable: Legend of Black Dragon You have to beat Fatalis. Monster Hunter Freedom Hint - Easy Garuga Kill The best way to beat the Garuga quest is to start and go straight to area 7. Go behind the big tree, start looking around and you will find special mushrooms. Keep inspecting the area until the message, "There is nothing else here". Sit till time runs out and put away the Garuga stuff. Head to the quest and hit the Garuga in the head a few times; he will die in about 10 hits. If you want to do this again, you will have to get the mushrooms agan or the monster will be at full health. Monster Hunter Freedom Hint - Moving Block Remember how in the PS2 version you could block while in the middle of a run/walk simply by hitting R? Well you can actually do this on Freedom by hitting TRIANGLE + CIRCLE + R all at once. Monster Hunter Freedom Hint - Easy Legendary Weapon If you want a legendary weapon that isn't really hard to make, get an iron sword, then evolve it through the buster sword,+,blade. Then make it into a defender, sentinel, halberd and eventually the beasty weapon-Judgement (you will need to get the mining point 2 upgrade on the farm in order to get carballite ore and to get monster bone+). All you need to do is one of the gathering hall (catch a Yian Kut-Ku mission) as this is the easiest way to obtain them). The stats for the Judgement sword are: Attack 1104 Sharpness 1/10 red, 1/20 orange, 1/5 yellow, 1/5 green. Monster Hunter Freedom Hint - Wyvern Bashing I've noticed that quite a few people are having trouble killing wyverns. My advice is avoid using sword and shield as most are pathetically weak. Just wait until the wyvern has charged or shot a fireball, dodge the shot and attack it from the side or behind. With my Great sword equipped, I advise the draw and slash, running towards the wyvern, then pressing TRIANGLE before quickly rolling the side (with CROSS). I sheathe my weapon to evade, then I repeat the process. Monster Hunter Freedom Hint - Pure Crystal To obtain the Pure Crystal simply get your farm to mining point 2 and keep mining. You get it about every 15 to 20 times you mine. Monster Hunter Freedom Hint - HR Rank Up To rank up from HR1 to HR2, you must complete the following 4-star Gathering Hall Guild quests: The Land Shark Trouble in the Swamp Jungle Menace Attack of the Yian Kut-Ku Catch a Yian Kut-Ku Catch a Gypceros After you have completed the above quests, an Emergency Quest (Four Horns) will appear. Clear it for HR2 rank. To rank up from HR2 to HR3, you must complete the following 5-star Gathering Hall Guild quests: Basarios: Unseen Peril Wyvern in the Darkness Get me a live Khezu! The Desert Plesioth Water Wyvern in the Jungle The Runaway Diablos The Fearsome Gravios A Troublesome Pair After you have completed the above quests, an Emergency Quest (Giant Dragon Invasion) will appear. Clear it for HR3 rank. To rank up from HR3 to HR4, you must complete the following 6-star Gathering Hall Guild quests: Attack of the Yian Kut-Ku Trapped by Yian Kut-Ku Trouble in the Swamp The Poison Siege The Two Sand Shadows After you have completed the above quests, an Emergency Quest (Thunderous Duo) will appear. Clear it for HR4 rank. To rank up from HR4 to HR5, you must complete the following 7-star Gathering Hall Guild quests: The Shadow in the Cave Basarios: Invisible Terror Two Rock Wyverns The Land and the Sky After you have completed the above quests, an Emergency Quest (Pink & Azure) will appear. Clear it for HR5 rank. To unlock the normal Fatalis quest, you must complete the following 8-star Gathering Hall Guild quests: Queen of the Jungle (Gold) Slay the Rathalos (Silver) Water Wyvern in the Jungle (Green) The Runaway Diablos The Runaway Diablos (Black) Volcanic Valor Wyverns of Land and Sky (Gold & Silver) After you have completed the above quests, an Emergency Quest (Giant Dragon Invasion) will appear. Clear it to unlock Legendary Black Dragon mission. Clear that to unlock Plate of Calamity, Rage of Yian Garuga, and Thunder & Lightning. Monster Hunter Freedom Hint - Optional Guild Titles New Village Friend ... Clear all of the village Chief's lv 1 and lv2 quests. Village Defender ... Clear all of the village Chief's lv 3 and lv4 quest. Top-Class Hunter ... Clear all of the village Chief's lv 5 quests. Hero of Koto ... Clear all of the village Chief's quests. (Wyvern Type) Hunter ... Kill 20 wyverns of that type. (Wyvern Type) ... Kill 50 wyverns of that type. Giant ... Kill a monster worth one gold crown. Mining Millionaire ... Monster Hunter Freedom Hint - Wyvern Fighting With Swords We have all tried killing the wyverns,and failed at least once,so heres one of the easiest ways to slay these beasts,what you need is a great sword with at least 300 attack power,a smoke bomb and any armour that can stand at least three hits from a wyvern,ok then,first of all,find an area where the wyvern comes and slay all the beasts in that area,that should be easy enough,two is better than one,so make sure you're in a situation where you're fighting only ONE enemy,now,when you find it get a good distance,and throw the smoke bomb at him,he'll be distracted with all the smoke,now's the time to strike SPRINT up to the monster and hit the triangle button to execute a downward strike and remember,you can do dodge rolls while holding the great sword,so roll underneath the wyvern and keep using the side and backward slashes,they have no defense at all when you're underneath them,so if you get hit and roll away,just run straight back underneath him,this works for almost all of them except for the desert wyvern and a few others,try this in multiplayer,it will take seconds to slay a yiun kutku with 4 people using this technique! | Submitted by GameMaster
