Its quite simple.all you do is press r1 and x to perform the burnout. while using this,use the analog stick to move side to side. instead of going side to side, you do a complete 360 degree turn which puts you ahead of everybody. Dont worry, you can do this before the timer runs out. the only sideaffects of this is if you have a slow acceleration car, it'll only put you ahead by a little bit but if you have a faster acceleration, this is a big help.
