During the title screen hold down L & R and press start. The screen will display difficulty 1 and difficulty 2 (difficulty 1 is set at 5 and difficulty 2 is set at 4. Lower both of them to one to make the game easier. You could also put 9 lives instead of 3. | Submitted by Robert
