Breath Of Fire 2
Cheats, Tips, Secrets & Walkthroughs for Breath Of Fire 2 on SNES |
Defeating "Spirit" Enemies
The enemies inside Bando are quite difficult to defeat because they are "spirit" type, along with other enemies throughout the game. These enemies only take half-damage from any attack and spell, but will take double-damage from "holy" weapons. That is a 4x difference in damage!! The most readily available of these include the SilverDR, SoleSD, ElmoreSD & WonderRP. Talk to the priest that saves the game and ask to give a donation. If you have less than 100 coins he will give you 10 coins until you reach 100 coins. After this happens, deposit the coins, return and repeat as needed. Note: If you try to have the priest give you more than 100 coins he will take them as a donation. Infinite Healing Items or Gold Coins
After you have the carpenter build the house for the old lady that unites shamans, go to the northeastern house where the carpenter cooks. Talk to the carpenter and he'll tell you he can cook anything. In the item selection screen use two herbs to make a HelpBL four to make an Elixer. Now to make it infinte, next use either four HelpBL's or two elixers to make a LifePL. So that would mean that you used 8 hervs for a total of 64gp to make one LifePL for a total of 250gp. So sell your LifePL's to make alot of money, buy more herbs and do it again! The LifeBr (Life Brace) is a well-hidden item that grants a character immunity to the infamous "Death" spell along with regeneration. To find it, after your battle with Barubary in the dark room of the final dungeon, have Katt smack the wall on the right. Travel through the passage, and have Sten grab onto the ledge. Open the chest to find the Life Brace. If you fought Barubary alone, he will give you a hint as to finding this item. At Giant Island, in the northern area of the map above the town Gate (Press select for the map), you'll find Bo and Karn from the first Breath of Fire game. They don't do anything though, but you can talk to them. You'll need the whale or the bird to get there though. The StarBringer Sword can be found by standing on a blue "chance" square in the Thieves' Tomb and fighting repeatedly. More Cheats, Tips, Secrets & Walkthroughs
