Start a Versus mode game against the CPU under the "Hardest" difficulty setting and the "Edition Select" option on. Set the game to one round. Choose any character (Zangief recommended) and make sure the edition is "USFIV". Choose your opponent to be the same character as yourself. Set the CPU's edition to "SFIV" its handicap to "0%". Then, defeat your opponent.
To fight Gouken in Arcade mode after Seth, meet the following requirements, with only having one round per battle. Have no continues, one Perfect, five First Strikes, and three Super or Ultra Finishes. However, you do not need to defeat Seth with a Super or Ultra finish.
Win an Online Ranked match with Poison, Elena, Rolento, Hugo or Decapre.
Note: This can only be done as Ryu, Cammy, Chun-Li, Seth, C.Viper, or Guile. Either hold [3 Kick] or no button when "Now!" appears, and keep it held until both character's pre-fight portraits appear to fight the indicated rival.
Complete the indicated task to fight the corresponding extra boss after Seth is defeated. You must fight three round matches and complete the requirements before facing Seth.
