Journey to the Savage Planet Cheats

You will be able to fast travel to areas you have already visited in Journey to the Savage Planet by activating the Alien Teleporters. Scout out each new area you find for alien teleporters as doing so will make it a lot easier to traverse planet ARY-26.

Aside from scanning the different fauna and flora using your visor you will also need to collect resources such as silicon, aluminium, and carbon to craft new gadgets. Unless you are luckily enough to stumble upon the resource viens you will have to shoot the creatures and plants you encounter on planet ARY-26 to acquire the elements.

In Journey to the Savage Planet there are optional side missions called Science Experiments which will enable you to achieve four Explorer Ranks and access to certain upgrades by completing them. These Science Experiments are worthwhile doing as they will make exploring planet ARY-26 easier.

To craft the proton tether, you will need the extracted sample and 150 pieces of silicone. Silicone can be found in abundance on AR-Y26. You can gain it by eliminating certain wildlife (Jellywaft, Skipper) or by searching for large clusters of yellow crystals. Shooting a cluster will grant you 50 silicone while killing wildlife will give you anywhere from 5-10. Once you have the necessary materials, you can return to the Javelin and Craft the Proton Tether.

In most games of this genre dying results in a 'Game Over' screen and restarting from a recent checkpoint. In Journey to the Savage Planet you are brought back as a clone via your ship's Bio-Replication Chamber, which allows you to continue the game. Although you lose any resources you where carrying at the time you will be given the opportunity to regain them by returning to where you were killed.

Resist the temptation to rush though the world to the next waypoint. It is more beneficial to take your time and methodically search every area to find the resources and upgrade materials that have been hidden away in hard-to-reach places. Although you will not be able to obtain some of them until you have the required tools it's still worth exploring off of the main path.

In Journey to the Savage Planet you increase your health and stamina by eating Orange Goo. This valuable resource is often found hidden in tall grass which you can move out of the way by either shooting or slapping it. It is important that you collect the Orange Goo whenever possible as it allows you to run longer and explore faster.

You have reached the bottom of the Tower and are now facing the death meatball himself, Teratomo

To defeat Teratomo you must pop the yellow zits all over his body. These deal the most damage to him but you can also shoot him in the eyes to deal slightly less damage. He has three main attacks he will use

Acid Spray: Each of the three big platforms in the back have acid sprayers above them. When teratomo reaches his arms in the sky, whichever one you are standing one, Run! he is about to cover it all in acid, making you unable to stand on it for a short period of time

Tentacle Slap: If you are standing close to Teratomo on any of the three small platforms in the center of the room, after a short amount of time he will raise his tentacles in the air, slapping each of the platforms at once. You will have a small window to jump off the platform and get out of there

Jellywaft Summon: The final thing Teratomo can do is spawn some jellywafts to damage you while you are trying to fight. These can be extra annoying when combined with the acid spray attack, as they will make moving from platform to platform much more dangerous. it is you best bet to take these out as soon as they spawn.

You can use bombegranites to destroy a bunch of zits at once on the left and right sides of his body because they are closely grouped together thanks to his giant size. Each time you deplete one of his health bars he will spit his tongue out and give you access to the inside of his mouth where the planet seed is located.

Walk inside his mouth to try to pull the seed out, get spit out, and do it again two more times. Once you defeat teratomo you will be successful in removing the seed...but uh..he may eat you. Luckily you uh...come out the other end.
