After beating the game for the first time you'll unlock the option of turning on Letterbox view. Go to Options - General - HUD Display Settings. Letterbox is the second lowest option there. Pick "Show" and then go back into the game.
First, you need the "Ambush" stealth skill. You can buy skills by going to the mirror area and sitting in the chair (mirrors are found at every safehouse). Then, lean at a corner and when an enemy approaches, perform a corner takedown to get the "Wait For It..." achievement. This can be done anywhere in the game. You can lure enemies to you by popping out of cover for a moment and letting them investigate the area. However, be careful they do not become fully aware of you, as the corner takedown only works while you are in stealth.
These are items you can unlock by beating the game on the separate difficulties (Casual, Survival, Nightmare, Classic)
Successfully complete the game on any difficulty to unlock Sebastian Castellanos' costume from the original The Evil Within.
Before you explore the Union, make sure you remember where is your sanctuary. You can go back at any point in the game. When you have a low supply of HP (coffee) or want to create ammunition for weapons, improve it and Castellanos. Creating ammo, first aid kits and other items during the game using "Artisanal production" (inventory), you expend significantly more resources. This option is not recommended because even on low, the number of resources is limited. So come to the shelter and use the minimum amount of resources.
