Get in the habit of saving before every mission.
Put strongest character first.
Keep main character in the back.
Don't waste weapon endurance on weak enemies.
Upgrade weapons at the blacksmith using mostly materials the item is made of.
At the beginning of the game you are unable to buy equipment or items, however you are able to trade. Do not sell your items for money, because it may be worth more as it is for a trade.
An alternate way to unlock chests, magic and non-magic is to use the fortune teller skill on a chest and aim for a Dynamite reel. When you land on it, the chest will be unlocked.
