Somebody on the page said the triangle button gave your ally's a temporery stat boost, thats true but it also tells them to keep fighting or to back off. Doesn't sound to helpful but in the near-the-end-of-the-game giant gargoyel fight & the fight with giant Ursala,it is.If you don't think you can win, let your ally's fight and fly or swim to the edge of the screen. Now both bosses make a dramatic gestur to signal a surounding attack,at that moment if you want to save your magic and not have to heal them press the triangle button and they will make a little battle cry and come to you, and you can do the same to make them charge back at the enemy. If you do this right you can win the fight without ever attacking the enemy. (Exept for the finishing blow, the game desisngers made it so that Sora MUST make that finishing blow, you can wait for a half an hour but no matter how many times they attack, Sora must finish the battle.
