After you have escaped from Borgin and Burkes, you will see Ginny and Mrs Weasley waiting for you next to Gringotts. They will start talking. Ginny will say that she had dropped her things in the shops she passed on the way to Diagon Alley. Harry will offer to look for them for her, but first he has to go to Flourish and Blott's to get a copy of the Standard Book of Spells Grade 2 and a potion vial from Mullpepper's. Mrs Weasley will give you a sickle to buy the book. Then you will have to follow Mrs Weasley and Ginny to Flourish and Blott's to get the book. When yo get there, the shop will have books at the window. DO NOT be fooled if they stop as they stop sometimes on the way there, which I find very annoying. Go inside the bookshop and talk to the wizard at the counter. He will tell you the book costs one sickle, which you already have (you will have to smash barrels and things to get sickles for the vial, as it costs eight sickles, which is a right rip off. You will have to buy the book first before you smash barrels). Click 'x' to buy. He will tell you how to use the spells. Go outside when he finishes speaking and Ginny and Mrs Weasley will ask you to smash barrels (you will probably not get any sickles apart from the one behind the barrels). When you have finished smashing the barrels, you can go and find Ginny's things. She will tell you they are in the Magical Menagerie, Gambol and Japes and the Leaky Cauldron. You do not have to find them in the following order, and plus you can find sickles to get the vial before or after you find Ginny's things. In the MagicalMenagerie, the oldie that runs it will say that it is closed. You will have to sneak to the switch that opens the door at the far end of the room.The switch is on the right hand side wall. The oldie will wander around the shop feeding his animals. The quickest way to get to the switch is to cast a spell in the opposite direction of the switch. He will run to the place where the spell was cast and you can get to the switch. Press it and hide somewhere he won't see you like on the other side of a shelf as the door takes a little while to unlock. If he catches you, go through the metal gate leading to the place where the exit is. Do not leave the shop. Wait till the 'caught' music goes off and the 'sneaking' music comes back on. Go through the metal gate and into the shop. Cast a spell to the direction of the switch so you can go through the door, if it has unlocked. In the back end of the room, you will find Ginny's scales. Collect them and to your best to sneak back out the shop. Again, I would recommend casting a spell somewhere else so you can get through the exit easily. Then go to Gambol and Japes, which is behind Ginny somewhere down the stairs. There's a secret passage on the far end of the hallway. There's not much in it though, just extra beans. Come out of it and down the stairs. There's a goblin like wizard at the counter. You can buy stink pellets there if you want for four sickles. Somewhere there's a hole which you can crawl through.
