Ok this code is very simple but requires 350,000 gil and the airship. Goto any merchant (preferably the guy on the airship) and buy 3 variable steels. After that the guy should say thank you for buying from me. I found this in my bag 1 day and found it useless. I think you should have it. Then check your weapons and all three variable steels should have the ability "Gil Pockets". Now when you go fight monsters with this weapon it gives you quadruple the gil you earn from the monster per how many times you have fought it divided by 5. So when you normally fight a mimic, it will give you 50,000 gil, but if you have fought a mimic 20 times you, would get 8,000,000 gil after you kill the 21st mimic. This cheat is very good to earn unlimited gil and buy whatever you want. I have tested this out myself and have gotten 999,999,999 gil (most gil you can get in the game) and i am able to buy absolutely anything without worrying bout a budget for potions or pheonix downs.
