Intentionaly lose the first mission AFTER the Raven's test. Continue losing until you reach -50,000 credits or less to activate the plus cheats. There are numorous bonuses in the plus cheats (i.e. advanced radar, the ability to fire sholder weapons while in motion, faster cooling...)
