Craft the Best Neutral Cards

As resources to craft cards is not easy to come by it is advised that you craft the best neutral cards available as these highly versatile cards offer excellent opportunities to round out any deck with powerful tempo plays and can greatly improve your overall strength. These cards which include Germain Piquant, Golden Froth, and the three base Witcher cards (Vesemir, Lambert and Eskel) are particularly effective in any faction, especially early on when you do not have access to a lot of top tier cards.

Find the Chests

Keys are acquired by levelling up, completing challenges and achievements, and winning matches. Use them in order to take the shortest route in the Reward Book to get to the chests as these will give you a decent amount of Ore, Scraps, and even Kegs which you can then use to unlock more cards.

Focus on a Single Faction

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is a cerebral game that demands careful planning as each faction has a different playstyle and unique card combos that have various advantages and weaknesses on the battlefield. If you are unfamiliar with the game it is advised that you begin by focussing on learning a single faction.

How to Choose a Faction

Before you begin to focus on learning a single faction you should try each of them to see which one fits your playstlye. By both playing and researching what each faction and card does you will know how to exploit their weaknesses on the battlefield.

Read your Opponents Moves

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is all about trickery and deception and your ability to read your opponent's moves and to plan ahead to counter their big plays well before they happen. Effective tactics include forcing your opponents hand by luring them into draining their resources and knowing when to cleverly lose a round in order to win the entire game.

Upgrade the Starter Deck

Don't try and buy every bronze, silver, gold, and neutral card. It is better to upgrade one of the starter decks, swapping out the existing cards as you play. Avoid the temptation of milling the remaining four factions for Scraps as the meta could shift with the introduction of a new update which could potentially leave you high and dry.

Basics Mastered	Complete the basic tutorial.
Blacksmith	Play a bronze and a gold card in a multiplayer game.
Blitz	Play five cards in a single turn.
CatchEmAll	Collect fifty unique cards from one faction.
Common Denominator	Win a multiplayer game without Golden cards in your deck.
Destroyer	Destroy three or more units with single card.
Fantastic Five	Obtain at least one leader from each faction.
Gloves Off	Finish three online matches.
Go All In	Fully deplete your deck.
Greatest Admirer	Send "GG" fifty times.
Had Enough Yet	Win a game with two cards remaining in hand.
Hall Of Heroes	Reach Prestige one.
Head Start	Start a round with ten points on the board.
Head To Head	Get a draw in a multiplayer game.
Heart Of Gold	Win a battle without killing any of the opponent's units.
Hurricane Season	Fill your opponent's side of the board with row effects.
Iron Fist	Win a round with only Order units.
Kickin' Up Dust	Play one ranked game.
Leviathan	Boost unit to over a thirty points in a multiplayer game.
Master Tactician	Have card advantage of three cards.
Milestone	Reach level fifteen.
Mission Impossible	Destroy a unit that is Immune.
Munchkin	Reach level fourty.
Napoleon Complex	Destroy a Legendary enemy with a Common ally.
Next	Have a winstreak of three in any multiplayer game mode.
No Man Left Behind	Resurrect at least five cards in a match.
Nothing Wasted	Mill fifty cards.
Overkill	Win the final round of a multiplayer game by fifty or more points.
Quick, Before	Destroy a unit with Zeal before its triggered.
Quintuplets	Control at least five cards with the same power.
Ready For Battle	Equip a vanity leader skin, an avatar, a border and a title.
Romeo And Juliet	Destroy a Doomed enemy with a Doomed ally.
Shiny!	Own at least 150 premium cards.
Specialist	Win a game using fifteen special cards.
Tables Turned	Win a round and game, after losing by twenty points.
Thanks, but No Thanks	Win a Regular Battle without redrawing any cards.
The More The Merrier	Play a maximum number of units into any single row.
Trouper	Reach Rank twenty.
Uman make smashsmash?!	Smash hundred kegs.
We Are Legion	Spawn five allies in a single turn.
Your wish is our command	Use ten order charges in a single turn.
