Buying fish eggs also results in experience. For example, buy a Shy Hamlet for 35 Coins to gain 15 experience points, or a Scooter Blenny for 29 experience points. If you want more experience points and have the money, buy the more expensive fish.
When waiting for your fish to mature enough to sell, visit a friend to help clean their tank or adjust their volume for optimum play. This results in more Coins and experience points. If you have more friends, you can do this more often because you can only help each friend once per day.
You must be at the level to unlock sardines. Sardines only take three minutes to grow to junior and about ten minutes or more to become an adult. They require more in feeding but at least results in fast experience. When they reach adulthood, sell them. They give you 12 experience points but sell for 48 Coins. Wait until your fish mature before selling them. Althought selecting the rapidly maturing Mini Dart Goby fish is an early and cheap option for only 9 Coins, choose fish that take longer to mature. For example, the Scooter Blenny can be bought for 88 Coins and grows every 24 hours. When sold it is worth 221 Coins. Along with coins, the Blenny also brings in a lot experience.
