Mike Tyson isn't like any other fighter on the game; he makes even Super Macho Man look like a Super Sissy! Speed and Reflexes are the key! It takes way more speed than it does to beat any other fighter in the game, so if you don't have these skills, then do as Mike says, "Go Home and Practice!"

To Beat Mike Tyson:
Round One - First, dodge his fast, huge uppercuts, then hit him twice as you dodge each uppercut. Be very careful, as one punch will knock you down! Second, at about 1:30 of the first round, he will start to throw his medium speed jabs. At this point, dodge them and hit him twice as before. It seems as though you have to dodge even faster for the jabs. Perfect this technique and you can knock him down once, maybe even twice, in the first round. Don't let Tyson knock you down more than once in first round, because he will be even tougher to beat in the remaining two rounds.

Round Two - Easiest round of the fight. He will come out throwing his super fast jabs, unless you attack him. Hit him once to the body and throw four or five punches to the head; however, you must be really, really fast. If you get hit once, don't get distracted just keep on attacking. He will block your succession of punches, but you have eliminated the super fast jabs for round two. After this, you can do one of two things. You can dodge his medium jabs and hit him twice for each jab he throws, as round one. Also, you can hit him until you turn pink and he will become more predictable. When you are pink, he will throw one medium jab and two fast uppercuts. Dodge them and after the second uppercut, you can land more punches at a time. Whatever stategy or combination of stategies you decide, you have to be really, really fast when dodging and punching or he will hit you or block you. If you decide on option one, then you will have to be prepared to hit him when he blinks his eyes and if your timing is right, he will go down; if not, you will get a star punch and then you must be prepared to quickly block his succession of super fast jabs or he will hit you and you will lose your star. To land a star punch, you will have to get pink and dodge as option two and hit him twice and then land the star.

Round Three - He is as unpredictable as in any round of the game and you will have to rely on your instincts. However, from the starting gate he comes out and quickly throws a punch, whether that be jab or uppercut, you won't know. Be ready to quickly dodge and counter. You can't just sit there and block, because you don't know when he will use a jab or uppercut. Also, if he knocks you down, then you'll be able to get up(if you've done well in the first two rounds). When he knocks you down, he will come back quickly, so be ready to counter. If he knocks you down four times in the fight, then you lose.

Using these strategies, I was able to knock him 5 or 6 times and 3 times in the third to TKO him. Even though, I didn't need it, you can win by decision, if you score 5000 points. | Submitted by MarcusMitchell
