To activate the CHR RAM "Smiley Test" easter egg for this game, you will need to power on the NES/Famicom console while holding Up, Down, Left, Right, B, Select, and Start. Note, however, that it is not normally possible to hold all four D-Pad buttons without specially modified controllers; standard NES/Famicom controllers will not work. At the title screen, hold Left + B + Select and press Start. At the title screen, hold Up + Right and press Start. When your score is good enough to make the high score table, enter your name as ''CAMERICA'' or ''MIG 29'' to see hidden messages at the high score screen, or enter your name as ''DIZZY'' to see a brief demo of The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy. At the Mission screen, hold Up + B + Select and press Start. The helicopter color will change, indicating that you are invincible, although your fuel still may run out. You should re-enter this cheat before the every mission as a result. At the Mission screen, press one of the cheat sequences below, corresponding to the mission number, to skip to the next mission instantly.
