 When pulling back to aim and slingshot your skull ahead, time will slow down but the skull will still move during your aim. Use this to gain momentum and avoid difficult areas. Ignore coins if it will cost speed and momentum to collect them. Instead, aim for springs and the skeletal hands that appear from the ground. Maneuver around as fast as possible. You can return later to collect coins when not attempting to complete the level. When stuck on a chase scene with larger hills and difficult corners, aim above them that your skull flies over them with no obstructions in front of it. Ignore the treasure chests and traps and simply pass the area without getting touched by your pursuer. When not chased or in a timed portion, proceed casually to find treasure chests, coins, and other items.
