Ragnarok: Idle Poring
Various Gameplay Tips for Ragnarok: Idle Poring - iPhone iPod |
Tip 1: Ro: Idle Poring gets off to a rather slow start. For a good portion of the beginning of the game, you'll just be waiting for your character to mow down low level enemies. Leveling up actually doesn't grant you that big of a stat boost - your power is more influenced by your gear. Make sure you check on your hero screen every now and then. If you see a red notification symbol, that means you've picked up a new piece of gear. Equip it right away to take advantage of your newfound power!
Tip 2: You gain attribute points every time your base level goes up. You can spend these points in the Hero menu to increase your base stats, but you only get a few points per level so make sure you choose wisely! If you're unsure of how to build your character, simply tap on the recommended button for the game to automatically assign your points for you, based on your current job. Unless you're going for a specific build, we recommend just sticking to the recommended attribute points to ensure your character is balanced.
Tip 3: You're going to get a lot of gear from killing random monsters, so make sure you're smelting often. Smelting at the Smith will destroy your old, unused gear in exchange for smelting points. The rarer the gear, the more smelting points you'll earn back. You can spend these points to forge a really good piece of gear, so be sure to smelt often.
Tip 4: You will start to learn active skills once you undergo your first job change. Skills are the defining aspects of a job! A Swordsman's trademark technique is Bash, a hard-hitting strike that deals a lot of damage. Mages can be seen slinging elemental bolts of their choosing. Your hero will automatically use these skills as they're available during combat, and they can really help take down enemies fast. Each skill has a unique property to it, so be sure to study up and equip the right ones. Skills that have some sort of crowd control, like stunning capabilities, are extra helpful and you should try to always have those equipped.
Tip 5: You can bring two pets to fight alongside you once you're high enough level. They provide passive stat boosts, and feeding them will make them stronger in that regard. Don't forget to feed them and level up them - they're just as important as your hero! The passive boosts are incredibly helpful to have.
