When offered, take the sword and shield, but leave the armor in the "Tomb of the King" level. Exit to the main menu then sell the sword and shield to the vendor for about 1,500. Resume the game from the last checkpoint, just before obtaining the items. The sword and shield will have respawned because you did not pick up the armor. Repeat the process as many times as desired, then collect the armor to continue. Loot from the dead + barrels
Break whatever you see in sights, such as barrels, you will find hidden gold or potions inside. Pick up what is being left behind from the skeleton, you will able to find valuable items such as coins and weapons. In the "Tomb of the King" level where you get a sword, shield, and armor. Just get the sword and shield and do not pick up the armor. Then you can exit to the main menu and go to the vendor, sell the sword/shield for about $1500, then continue game. You can repeat this as many times as you want. Just make sure you don't accidentally pick up the armor or it will trigger a new checkpoint and you can't repeat it. It only takes about 1.5 minutes each time because the checkpoint is right near where you need to be.
