Place your starting six players in their preferred position to avoid getting a stat penalty in Quick Games and minimize energy loss in Season mode. However at times it may be better in Quick Games to use your rarest or best players in any position if they will remain strong in that lineup. The goalie is a very important position, as he may get paired with other players. Level your goalie cards first. If you have a poor goalkeeper, intentionally lose the challenge by teaming him up with your worst card. This will increase your chances of winning the other match-ups and eventually the game. Season Plays offer a easy opportunity to win rare and better cards. Log in often and restore your starting players' energy. Switch them with the reserves if necessary. Return every two or three games to make any required changes. Consider starting a Season only after you have at least six Energy Cards. You can collect hundred maximum cards. Wait until you reach that limit before upgrading your cards. This allows you to determine which cards will be kept, and which will be used as upgrade fodder. If you have doubles you can combine them to create a Pro card and improve its stats even more. However, do not combine two identical cards until each of them has been maxed out in order to recieve its full potential. Note: You will lose your enhancements when cards are combined; wait to Pros to max them. When you are about to lose, force quit the app and restart it. The game's outcome will not be recorded, and you will be able to continue with a perfect record. You can win when scoring against an opponent or when you win all three match-ups. The match-up version awards you with three card picks instead of two. The CPU usually plays its best cards during the first two rounds. Also use that strategy to counter. Save your best card for later by going with your second best card first. Choose your opponent carefully by examining the rarity tier they are playing in, which is indicated by the shape and color of the trophy next to their MVP. The number of games they have played is also an important consideration. Try to choose opponents in a lower tier and with less games played than yourself. You can get potentially better rewards by being in a better tier with your team. Try to keep your meter in the upper side of the bar to remain one of the stronger players in the tier.
