Breed Shuggabush and Ethereal Monsters
To breed a Shuggabush all you need to do is breed a congle and a bowgart, it might take a while but it is worth it especially considering the fact the the Shuggabush only takes up two beds. To breed a Ghazt you need to breed an Entbrat with a T-Rox (it takes several tries) most of the time it comes out T-Rox but eventually it will come out a Ghazt. To breed any single element ethereal monster all you need to do is breed a four element monster (Entbrat, Deedgee, Riff, Shellbeat, Quarrister) with a three element monster.
Go to the friends menu. Click add friends. It says that you can get free diamonds for adding friends via email, twitter or Facebook. Click on any of these. Then, it will tell you to put in an email or your friends name. Exit out of that screen. It should have given you five diamonds for each one.
Get a Ghazt real on iPod!
To get a Ghazt on iPod, put a entbrat on the left and a clamble on the right. It should take at least 1 day and 10 hours.
How to Breed Ethereal Monsters
For all Ethereal monsters, one must breed a quad-element monster (i.e Entbrat, Deedge, ect.) with a tri-element monster (i.e Bowgart, Clamble, ect.).
The Ethereal monsters are extremely rare and aren't bred every time. When a wait time of 36 hours (27 with an Enhanced Breeding Structure) appears, you have bred an Ethereal monster. Any other time means you didn't, get an Ethereal and must retry.
On Plant and Air Islands, breeding the respective quad-element monster with a T-Rox is the most efficient method due to the eight hour (or 6 with EBS) wait time for T-Roxes when unsuccessful. On Cold, Water, and Earth Islands, any tri-element monster will do since the T-Rox is not featured here.

Punkleton: Bowgart to left, T-Rox to the right.
Yool: Deedge to the left, Thumpies to the right.
Schmoochle: Tweedle to the left, Riff to the right.
Blabbit: Spunge to the left, Scups to the right.
It may take a while to get one but you'll get one someday.
When you have a daily money/food/diamond or a weekly monster egg scratch card, rub the card to reveal your prize. If you get a low prize (e.g: hundred coins) instead of collecting your prize, press cancel (or whatever button you press to go back) then select the scratch card again. Repeat it as much times as you like until the desired prize. Note: This may not work on all versions.

Shards To Diamonds, Coins To Shards and Diamonds To Shards
If you have unlocked ethereal island but don't have ethereal monsters to put on it and need shards, if you have the correct currency, you can get shards! Go into market, currency, go to exchange currency, and then find the shard currency trade, accept it, and you are done!
If you have 50,000 coins and are past level 10, an item in the shop becomes available called the Time Machine. Purchase it and place it on one of your islands. Tap on it and then tap the Warp button. Move the cursor left and right to make significant changes in the speed of the song. Watch the hilarity ensue as you turn your Furcorn into a rejected part of Alvin and the Chipmunks!
If you don't know a monster's mystery like, experiment with the decorations as in keep buying things until hearts come out of the monster. Then try with another monster and see what it likes.
For some odd reason, the T-Rox has a wait time of only 8 hours! All the other tri-element monsters take 12 hours. This can come in handy when breeding the rare Ethereals or breeding for cash.
