Before starting a level, three boxes will appear at the bottom of the screen. They represent missions. Completing missions to get coins as a reward. Each level features five daily chests that are scattered around. For example, the first chest opened in "Pacific Islands" will have 500 coins. Each successive chest will have progressively more valuable contents. The final chest will give you 2,100 coins. Other levels may have better rewards. These daily chests will disappear after a certain amount of time has passed and will not appear until the next day. Eat as many fish as possible. Eating many fish in quick succession start a score multiplier in the upper left corner. Continue to eat fish without stopping and the multiplier will grow. Some fish have a gold appearance. Eating those fish will reward you with bonus coins. Eating anything will build the gold rush bar at the bottom. When full, all fish will turn gold for a limited time. When you encounter a school of fish, eat all of them to collect a "School's Out" bonus for more points. Each level has an associated map. These can be purchased at the shop. They will reveal the level's layout. You can upgrade them to learn more information. When a map is fully upgraded, it will show you where each letter of the HUNGRY word appears, as well as the exact locations of the daily chests. To unlock the next shark for purchase, you must pass the required point limit with your current shark. Upgrade your current shark as much as possible to make it easier to score points. Speed will increase your shark's general speed. Bite allows your shark to you chew through prey faster. Boost increases your boost meter.
