Hex Crush
Cheats, Tips, Secrets & Walkthroughs for Hex Crush on iPhone iPod |
When setting up the level with your first several moves, keep your tiles filled along the edges without gaps. This allows you to have the most possible options as things get tighter. Because the outside edges are the shortest, you will begin earning points immediately. As you progress and the level will start to fill with random pieces that remain behind after lines are completed. Cluster around orphaned pieces with other pieces and work your way out from them. If possible, avoiding creating more gaps.
The smallest tile is one unit in size. It is valuable and can be used to solve many problems. Save it for completing lines that must be removed immediately. It can also be used for filling locations that can only accept tiles of two or three units in size. This is because there are no two- or three-unit sized tiles that will appear as options to use. When you have a location that is completely surrounded by other tiles, or on an edge or corner where no other piece can fit, use a single unit tile.
You will earn score bonuses by completing multiple lines with the same move. Set up multiple lines in multiple directions that will all lead to the same point. Do this by clustering your tiles from a central point then fan out and build on that central point. Build out to the edges until you can use one shape to complete several lines at once.
Avoid creating long expanses that require the four-piece line. You cannot plan when that shape will appear as an option to use. To prevent being stranded with a three-unit gap and only a four-unit line to fill it, use those lines early and often. The best locations for long pieces are along edges in the early rounds. As spaces become more unpredictable, place those lines down where they make contact with the most possible tiles. This will prevent creating more difficult to fill gaps.
When a piece does not line up perfectly or in the most ideal way, it may only have one dangling piece that will complete an entire row. When the layout gets tight, drop that tile into place to free up more space.
You do not have to use the shapes in the order they appear. Simply choose the best one at the moment. More Cheats, Tips, Secrets & Walkthroughs
