After the sixth island you will encounter arrows pointing towards the background. If you hit it, your character will begin swimming towards the background. You will still have to jump over islands. Master either the fish or shark first. Do not switch characters until one or the other are good. When playing the fish, the game will be slower compared to the shark. Jumps will also be slower, allowing for easier controls and chaining combos. You can also easily boost your score while playing the fish. Start practicing with the fish before enjoying the full potential of the game with the shark. Time your jumps perfectly. You can perform a short jump or a very long jump depending on how long you tap and hold. When deciding on a jump, base it depending on where obstacles are located. Release after you pass it, unless there is another short obstacle directly behind a long obstacle. Make sure that you can jump over both of them at the same time. When landing jumps, aim for the small yellow cubes floating around on the pads. They will score a few points when picked up. Any part of the islands you have to jump over are usually all dangerous; aim to pass over them.
