Kill slugs as quickly as possible by creating large combos with the characters who have an attack power that is strong against their stat. Characters have certain colors: Temper is green, Howie is blue, Tantrum is red, Kwincy is yellow, and Brittle is purple. Matches of the same color (for example, green leaves for Temper) will result in increased damage. Start knocking every color except for the strongest one to set up a large combo that will result in lots of damage. While drawing a line between tiles to search for matches, the amount of damage that will be done to the slug will be displayed over its head and will be subtracted from its current HP. Use this to determine the best moves when trying to kill a slug. If there is left-over damage after a slug is killed, it will carry over to the next enemy that appears, unless it is immune to that type of damage. This type of overkill increases the chance of rewards such as meteor mites.
