Super Smash Brothers: Melee

Japanese Differences (sounds) for Super Smash Brothers: Melee - GameCube

Different voices and sound effects occur when the language is changed to Japanese...

-The announcer says "Battle royale" instead of "Melee" on the Vs. character select screen.

-The announcer says "Get the coins" instead of "Grab the coins" on the Vs. character select screen.

-Jigglypuff (Purin) has a completely different voice.

-Each character has a different crowd that chants their name.

-The Pokemon that emerge randomly from Pokeballs which say their name have different voices.

-Fox's taunt is random, which one being his English one, and one being in Japanese. Why wasn't the English one simply removed, though?

-Falco's Taunt is in Japanese (with a gruff voice that doesn't suit him well...), and has two sayings picked randomly. Again, why two taunts? At least none of them are in English like with Fox. | Submitted by AndrewBernish
