At first, you can only play the default quest, "Eternal Quest of the Dark Order". This quest is endless, with treasure chests containing coins at various places. The farther you progress, the more coins each chest will contain. You will also see revive points, which appear as dim purple panels. When stepped on, it will activate. If you die, you will have an option to revive at the last panel that was activated for some coins. The cost of reviving increases with your progress. Instead of reviving, save your coins to purchase other quests. There are three types of chests. They can contain shoes, shirts, and items. Shoes protect you from certain floor types and may allow you to pass over hazards. Shirts will protect you from traps and enemies. Items allow effects such as opening chests or slowing down some traps. Interact with the tome in front of the wizard. You will be given the option to purchase more quests for coins. These quests have an ending. When reached, you will be given an artifact. Artifacts add half of a heart to your total health. One heart is used when you step into a trap, allowing you to continue. Note: Each of the new quests have an entry fee, and have no chests with coins.
