  • Easy "Big Boss" achievement

There are Bosses that may be encountered. Each of them must be defeated in the same playthrough.

Zombie Bear
Encountered during scavenging. Killing it will require a lot of ammunition. Keep a wall between yourself and the bear and wait until the scavenge ends. Keep your distance and kill any other zombies present before focusing on the bear.

Zombie Dogs
Encountered during scavenging. You will be attacked by two zombie dogs along with regular zombies. Each dog requires three hits to take down. They will lunge to attack and move quickly. Get some distance before attacking them. When they crouch, it indicates that they are about to lunge and that you should run away. If possible, you can also try to wait until the scavenge ends.

Zombie Deer
Encountered while travelling. You will hear a rumbling sound and see walls of deer will approaching your car. Keep your car in good condition and stay near the middle of the road when possible to avoid them.

  • Easy "Deja Vu" Achievement

Play Endless mode under the highest difficulty. Do not take any food at the start. Allow zombies to attack you whilst scavenging to reduce your health. When it is low, begin travelling again until your character dies. Start a new game in Endless mode and travel until you find your tombstone.

  • Easy "Grave Robber" Achievement

You will randomly find tombstones as you travel. Tombstones found across all your playthroughs will qualify for the total required for "Grave Robber". It is also possible to repeatedly find your own grave in Endless mode, as described in earning "Deja Vu".

  • Easy "Overstocked" Achievement

This requires some luck, as the items will appear during scavenging are random. Scavenge at every opportunity and collect food items (shopping carts, tins of food, chocolate bars) first. Do not purchase the upgrade that increases the amount of food you can take from scavenges.

  • Easy "Pimp Your Ride" Achievement

Purchase or find five upgrades for the car and have them installed at the same time. Safe locations occasionally will have an auto shop that sells upgrades. Check all of them during your trip and save $100 to $200 to purchase the upgrades. The available upgrades are random at each shop. Parts can also be obtained random during random encounters during your journey.

  • Easy "Sleuth" achievement

As you get interesting cases during game play, always choose "Investigate".

  • Easy "There Can Only Be One" Achievement

Before reaching Safe Haven, kill the remaining members of your party. Note: You can leave them alone for most of the trip, but they must die before you reach the final location. If they die during the final event it will not qualify.
