spend them on building or upgrading more homes for your herd. Play the Scrat-Alanche mini-game. There will be lots of berries that you can collect. Make sure you have enough room to collect at least 150 berries before starting the mini-game so you do not waste any. Tap on an empty snow angel spot (resembles a light blue bird) to display the decorations list. Each decoration has a berry icon and a percentage. If it has an up arrow on it, that decoration will increase your maximum berry capacity by the listed amount. If it has two arrows pointing to the right, it will speed up berry production. Spend shells to purchase the decorations that are best suited to increase your berries. Tap on an animal home to check how many berries they make in an hour, and what their maximum limit is. When you upgrade their homes and rescue more animals, berry production and the capacity increases. If you spend shells to feed the animals in a home, their berry production speed increases.
Small mountain landmarks that have an item icon above them will appear on islands. When you tapped, you will get a random prize from a roulette wheel. Sometimes baby animals will be trapped in them. After collecting your reward, the resource node will start a cooldown timer. When on the map screen, there will be two icons next to the selectable islands (a paw and a torch). The paw displays how many animals still are remaining on the island. The torch shows you what important items are present. Collect all of the animals and items before moving onto the next island. If the final item or animal is locked in a slot machine mini-game, be patient until it appears. Your progressed is saved on the last two islands that were visited. When you find an island that has several slot machine mini-games you can return there and play them again as many times as desired as long as you have not traveled more than one island away.
Combine five pieces to form a meteor. When matched with any other single piece, it will destroy every corresponding piece on the level. If matched it with a wavy piece, you will get more cross explosions. If you manage to match two meteors, the entire board starts to blow up. You will get an additional bonus if you can match three meteorites in a row. Every tile will turn into a heart and the level will automatically be completed. When you have Ice Blocks, try to match vertically next to the blocks to clear out the maximum amount of ice in one move.
