You can carry four companions. The more you have, the better. There are three types of crystals to feed them, depending on their color. Have a mixed set of companions to use all the crystals that are obtained. Each time you power them up, their experience points increases. They will eventually level up, and have their power-ups last longer. After you get four companions, purchase a mount for the extra bonuses. Focus on getting rare companions. Different creatures will give additional abilities to your character. Try not to have more than one creature with the same ability (for instance two of them that have the ability to have the coin chomper activated). An exception is having two creatures with the same ability but with different colors, because they can be activated with different gems. Some useful rare companions are the Lightfoot Cassowary that can do triple jumps and the Slowfoot Tortoise that will let you run at slower speed. Have four companions with you to cause the maximum amount of damage. Collect the complete groups of coins while you play. Do not spend diamonds on continues. Restarting the entire level again is the best way to save them for purchasing creatures. They will have better power-ups. There are various special events that will allow you earn to diamonds. Ten diamonds are also awarded to you for defeating the Boss that appears every ten levels. Use the Tornado in levels where you have to collect points, coins or kill monsters. Usually the safest route follows the path of coins. Normally thirty minutes are required replenish a single energy point. To speed up the process, you must advance the time on your device less than the total number of minutes required to regenerate one energy point. For example, if you need to wait the full thirty minutes, set the time ahead twenty eight minutes, then return to the game and wait for the two remaining units to pass. If you adjust the time by more than thirty minutes, it will not be replenished.
