Start making matches at the bottom of the level to increases the chance of combos when new candies drop in. Create matches by tapping and dragging gems to swap with others on the level. You have a limited number of moves that you can make per level. You may need to also complete a specific objective before the level can be completed. You will earn a one to three star rank for that level, depending on your score. Save the Candy Ward for when you really need it, such as cracking Jawbreakers. Do not use it on regular candy. Boss battles are completed by attacking it with a specific number of each type of candy. Concentrate on making matches from the required candies and try to create combos. Each time a level is failed and restarted, you will expend one energy point. When your energy gone, you must wait for it refill or connect to Facebook to get more lives from your friends. Complete the challenges for keys that will allow you to collect the rewards from treasure chests. Challenges will remain completed even if you fail the level.
