  • Coins

Coins can be spent to use additional birds in a level and to clear the smoke to open Boss levels. Killing pigs will sometimes release floating coins. To collect them, either tap them or wait for them to pop.

Aim for explosive objects such as bombs and explosive crates to demolish a pig's shelter. Explosives are especially useful in levels featuring lots of wood and concrete. Aim for the base of structures, but avoid burying the pigs. Toppling a building is a good way to taking out several pigs at the same time, but you have to be careful not to cause the rubble to cover them and give them additional protection.

The Hammer is unlocked at level 13. It can be used for free in that level. To use it in subsequent levels, it must be fully charged. This can be done by spending coins to charge it instantly, or charge it slowly by killing pigs. A full charge will be retained in the next level if not used. The amount of coins needed to charge it varies, and depends on how much more it needs to be charged to full. Farming previously completed levels for pig kills will also charge the hammer.

The more objects destroyed in a level, the better your score. Complete a level using as few birds as possible to earn more stars. You will score 10,000 points for each unused bird. In some cases, having leftover birds is the only way to get all the stars in a level. Destroy Golden Flowers to score 3,000 points.
