Franchise mode: Getting good drafts after winning the Superbowl
The downside about your team winning the Superbowl in Franchise mode is being 32nd in the draft. To avoid this, trade your draft picks for the draft picks of the team with the worst record just before the Week 6 trade deadline. The CPU will always accept. That team will usually finish in the Bottom 5 in the NFL standings. Alternately, wait until Week 17 then, turn off the trade deadline in your Franchise mode settings.
