The easiest way to kill the male is to hit the head with the tank bombs. Keep doing this and he will run away. Chase him and defeat him.

When the male calls for help from Spitfires, enable the "Invincibility" code. Get in the small pond that the male circles around. From here you can shoot almost anywhere, and the fireballs that the Spitfires shots cannot hit you.
