Make sure you take advantage of dashes and jump stomps whenever possible as the damage from these free attacks adds up fast and is invaluable. Complete a world's secret level to unlock gold weapons. If you unlock the first tier of skills first you will open up every ability available to your heroes and it will give you a much better sense of what they can do. Defeat the World 1 mid-Boss. Defeat the World 2 Boss. Defeat the World 2 mid-Boss. Defeat the World 3 mid-Boss. It is essential that you plan ahead using TactiCam mode at the beginning of fights by using it to look around the battlefield to see where your enemies are located and to find some good cover. Postgame, you are able to find hidden areas around Peach's Castle, one for each world, by using the Dig ability received by completing the game. These areas contain secret, extremely difficult challenges, and beating them grants you a cash price and the ability to purchase ultimate weapons. There are eight ultimate weapons in total, one for each character, and it can be a primary or secondary weapon, depending on the character in question. Each of them are the highest damaging weapons of their kind and each of them ups damage by 10% against Midbosses.
