After you get the sword and chase the dragon away in Chapter 7, enter the justice dream sequence found where the dragon was at. Complete the sequence, then backtrack to the beginning to where the deer was found. The fastest way there is to go down the steps across from where the dragon was located. Slash the deer with your sword and it will go to the altar. Slash it again to sacrifice it.
