When you are trying to figure out what items to sell to make extra money, unequip any item you have then go to the alchemy pot. Any item that is darkened cannot be used in the alchemy pot. Thus, you know that it is safe to sell. This is
especially helpful after you make items and you are not sure if they can be upgraded again.
