Once you have the sample you will need to collect 200 silicon and 100 aluminum before you can craft the upgrade. These can be found in clusters across AR-Y26 (Aluminum is a light blue and Silicon is Yellow) or by killing certain wildlife. Once you craft the upgrade you will be able to carry bombegranites with you at anytime to aid in your traversal across AR-Y26.
