To do this trick, the "Ghost mode" cheat must be enabled. At the beginning of the game as Ron, play through the Carpe Retractum level until you are standing next to the tenth final shield. Do not grab the shield yet. Instead, go into Ghost mode. Run through the wall on the left of the fake door and turn around to face the shield. Back away from there until you can see the bonus bean room in the far distance on your lower right. Go there, then exit Ghost mode to collect all the beans. Then, return to the tenth shield and complete the level. The game sends you back to the bean room with the timer running, but you already have the beans. Every time you replay the level the bean room is mostly restocked. Do not go there after the game has sent you or Harry and Hermione will try to follow you to the bean room and get lost in the blackness, forcing you to start the game again. You can also visit the bonus bean room as Hermione in the same manner. You must enter Ghost mode before getting the last shield. Exit the large greenhouse near the last transfigured dragon you used. Face him to go through the wall and down through the floor to exit the level. The bean room is in the distance to your right. Harry can also go there before taking the last shield. However, it is difficult to find the bean room. You must follow the ice ramps up and keep checking out past the dark blue haze to see it in the blackness on your right. You will only be able to see part of it.
