The fastest and easiest way to get clothing and weapon skins is to buy crates through the in-game store with their currency. The game does however provide you with a free crate every five levels, level fifty is a bronze crate which provides reasonable chance for rare items and level seventyfive and hundred are for Silver and Gold crates which gives high chances and definite chances at Ultra rare items like gun camos and the helmet skins. High round placing in game events will also enable you to win crates but to enter these events costs hundred gold coins. Skins do not affect your stats, and are only there for visuals and aesthetic. Craft Traps and Repair Kits
As well as picking up the weapons and armour that is dotted around the map the game also offers a crafting system which you can take advantage of to make your own collection of traps and repair kits. To be able to make these items you will first need to harvest the necessary materials. The key to surviving in gunfights is knowing how much damage you can take. The damage listed below is for body shots and does not count bleeding.
Handguns
R380: 15 damage
M1911: 25 damage
Magnum: 30 damage
M9: 19 damage
Rifles
AR15: 25 damage
AK47: 32 damage
Hunting Rifle: 65 damage
Shotgun
Shotgun: 1 shot kill at close range/no armour
Bows
Bow: 35 damage
Crossbow: 35 damage
Melee Weapons
Stick: 6 damage
Machete: 10 damage
Axe: 10 damage
Knife: 10 damage If you find a vehicle with keys in it, right click the keys to equip them. These keys will be universal and once equipped will always be with you and will work with any vehicle, even those belonging to other players. The only other way to steal a vehicle is to hotwire it which takes time. Make use of the vehicles that are scattered around the map to give yourself a bit more mobility and escape the toxic cloud. Vehicles have different levels of protection and some are faster than others but having any kind of transport is a huge advantage.
